Fun With Dogs
I know, I know...2 posts in one day?!?! Anyway, I had to update on the funniest thing I've seen in a while. I only wish I had a video camera... Tucker eats everything. And I do mean EVERYTHING. Tonight we decided to test that by giving him the lemon half after Pete squeezed it into the mussels he was making. Tucker seemed like he WANTED to like the lemon. He kept licking it and batting it around, but whenever he'd pick it up in his mouth he'd spit it back out on to the floor. The thing is, he did NOT want to give it up. He really wanted that lemon, he just couldn't quite handle it. Anyway, we were quite amused. We gave him some tasty treats as a reward for being so gosh darn hilarious. And for the record Pete's mussels were FABULOUS!!

Dogs are so funny like that. I had a boxer that would eat HOT salsa. His eyes would tear up; his nose would pour; and he would drool like only a boxer can - but he would keep licking till it was gone.

Hi Lisa
I'm visiting from ktp.
We have 2 black lab X pound puppies. Aren't they a hoot? We give them all sorts of strange things just to watch them eat it. A favorite is Zots candy...super sour and fizzy! LOL
(and if you don't crate them, they may eat bigger things...like a couch...sad but true..)

I found your site through KTP and yes puppies will eat lots of different things. We crated our boxer and still crate him becuase when we are not around he chews things like couches, wood, etc. Actually anything and will eat anything!
Oh and I read through some of your old posts I LOVE YOUR WEDDING CAKE!

OK, I found you from your comment on my blog (thank you by the way!) and the similarities get even crazier! First of all, are you wearing a Boston College sweatshirt in the picture of you on the roof? (Sorry, I'm totally not a stalker, really!) I went to BC for grad school! And my husband does Tae Kwon Do (he keeps trying to get me to do it)! AND I think I looked at the exact same reception location that you chose, although I could be wrong on that one since they started to blur together after a little while and it was over a year ago now. We didn't go with it only because of the size limitations! Very creepy....nice to "meet" you though! I love all of your writing about your wedding planning! I love that kind of stuff! Keep us posted! :)
