Welcome to our life! We thought it was ordinary...more or less...but chaos has a way of catching up. Now we're trying to plan our wedding, fix up our new house and try to figure out our lives together.

What's Goin' On

Ok, a ton has been happening since my last post, so I'm just going to put up a nice list. I know it's boring, but it's the only way to make this a reasonable length.
  • Tucker had to go to the Vet for eating a sock, then vomiting said sock, then eating the sock, etc. This cycle repeated enough times that he had to be checked out. Luckily, he vomited the sock in the exam room so he got to go home with Pete. Good times...thank goodness for pet insurance.
  • Pete and I left Tucker home with a good friend of mine who has a lot of dog-sitting experience. She left us a note saying that he was "energetic, but good". We figure that's code for "he drove her completely insane". Anyway, he was very excited to see us, as we were to see him. He ran back and forth between us for a half hour just to let us both pet him enough. It was wicked cute.
  • We went to 2 weddings in 2 days in 2 states - neither of which is the state in which we live. They were both a great time, we only wish we could have stayed longer at the second one! Congratulations to Jon and Christine and Danielle and Alison!!
  • I got my high green belt in Taekwondo. This was cool. I broke a board using a spinning hook kick and another using a punch. I can now threaten to punch Pete and he actually gets a little nervous!
  • We finally booked a DJ for the wedding!
  • We are still having a rough time finding an officiant. I have 2 leads right now, so hopefully one of them will work out.
  • We are contemplating a new car - a Honda CR-V. We need the extra space for hauling around the mutt!
  • We are officially "those people" who got our dog a Halloween costume. I couldn't help it - it was $6.99 and it's freaking adorable.
  • I may have found the perfect bridesmaid dress for my friends/family to wear. Now I just have to see it in person instead of just online. I have a few choices, so I will be emailing the pictures to the girls to see what they like. I can't officially get one until I get my dress to make sure they work well together, but at least I have finally found what I'm looking for, so I know it exists.
That's all I can think of right now, and Pete has made dinner, so I have to go eat. Here are a few pictures of Tucker in his Halloween costume - how cute is this?!
